Ok, I looked at over 20 posts and know there are about 161,000 for a rumour that google was going to release an online calender on the 6th of December 2005 at a Web 2.0 conference. Well, nothing happened. I think when the release happens, this will be a Big step for humanity and another nail for MS Office.

Does anybody else miss Leo, Patrick and the gang? I paid an extra $20 a month on cable, so I could catch the show 2 or 3 times a week. I liked the Tech TV website to. G4? what is a G4 and why is it alive?

If anyone knows the story why Tech TV disolved let me know.

POD Casting meets the Masses

As was promised here is my update on the:

Fri, October 21st w3w3 & TiE Rockies -Blogging Party(Denver & Internet)

Had no idea what to expect when showing up at this event. W3W3 hosted this party and it was a party. Larry Nelson and his wife Pat from W3W3 were great hosts. There were many presentations on Blogging, Podcasting and Video Blogging.

Scott Converse, Founder & CEO of Clickcaster.com was onhand to debut this new web site. If you want to make or upload a podcast this is a site to check out. Also, I uploaded an unfinished Bone Circus Song called Riding to Babylon from the mid 90's so do a search for it or follow this link:

Have to run, the holidays have me on the move.

Tech Week in Colorado

Great news I was already saving money on car insurance. I ride a bike! jk!

I am 1 for 1 on days in a row for the Blog update. Ok, so I'm a little behind on the events I'm blogging about, but I will get up to date soon.

Colorado Tech Week, October 17-21, 2005, was an amazing week in Colorado. I was out promoting PC CLUB and really gained some valuable knowledge and met some movers and shakers in the tech field. Nels (the Manager of the Denver PC CLUB) and I were out canvasing as many Tech Week events as we could. We made it to three of the events :

Tue, October 18th
Colo. Science Forum @ Museum of Nature & Science (Denver)

Wed, October 19th South Metro Denver Chamber of Commerce -
Prac-Tech-Con Practical Technology conference for Business Owners and Managers
(Littleton)

Fri, October 21st
w3w3 & TiE Rockies -Blogging Party(Denver & Internet)

The Science forum was a buy in luncheon, so Nels and I showed up as it was ending to pass out some PC CLUB literature. Alot of Doctors and Teachers here.

At the Prac-Tech conference, Qwest and some of their partners went over the power of now and future telcom innovations. One of the main topics was VOIP or Voice Over Interet People or Protocol. When utilizing VOIP phone messages can be sent directly to email. " I love this idea!"

There is more to come on the the Blobbing Party at W3W3 next time. This will include promised updates on Podcasting ,VOD, and VLOG.

To Blog or Not To Blog

Greetings and salutes! My name is Scott and this year I was able to partially understood Blogs. I guess the Web is coming full circle. I understand that originally the Web was a BBS or Bulletin Board System. So, now the Web is coming back to its roots, but on a exponential scale.

On March 19th 2005, Hugh Hewitt was in Colorado for a radio broadcast and book signing for his new book BLOG. Here is a pic of Me and Hugh , but no dog named scoobe doo. That's me in front looking way under slept or something.

Hugh is back on the right with the cans on. OBTW Hugh is very nice and down to earth in person. I attended the event as a Regional Sponsor for PC Club to teach other attendees how to Blog on PC Club Notebooks. This was very ironic since I had only posted one Blog prior and had never updated it. I promise to try and update this Blog at least once a day. Anyway the event was very enlightening as I was able to meet some interesting professional Bloggers.

Here is a Picture of Nels (The manager of the Denver PC CLUB) and I.

Next update will include some recent discoveries about Podcasting, VLOG's, VOD and more.
